Abstract
Desde su constitución, la Universidad Metropolitana de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología (UMECIT), ha puesto al centro, el interés por el desarrollo de la ciencia, la tecnología e innovación desde una mirada humanística y con pertinencia social, haciendo de la investigación y su divulgación una herramienta para el cambio de la sociedad actual; desafío que se agudizo tras la llegada de una pandemia que condujo a la innovación como práctica para afrontar y adaptarse al cambio con agilidad.
