Abstract

Considering that measuring is comparing, and that it is essential in all human activity to develop sustainable improvements, it is not fortuitous that organizations propose evaluation through measurement. For at least three decades, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) around the world have systematized peer evaluations and accrediting bodies to guarantee the quality of the services they offer. This article presents the overall assessment of a sample of faculty regarding satisfaction with institutional services at the Universidad Especializada de las Américas (UDELAS). The findings revolve around the high level of satisfaction of the professors with respect to the quality of the services offered, while a discrete satisfaction with respect to the quality of the academic support services is appreciated.
