Abstract

This study aimed to describe the formation of investigative skills of declarative and procedural character in participants of expertise in higher education. The study is descriptive, with a non-experimental design, field and transactional. The research is based on input from Tobon (2010), Barrios, Reyes and Muñoz (2009), Diaz and Fernandez (2010) and Balbo (2008) among others. The population consisted of 37 participants from the expertise of higher education of the chair of thesis II. Data collection was obtained through a knowledge test which was subjected to expert judgment. Reliability Kuder Richardson was by RTT = 0.58. an index of difficulty was also applied. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Kruskal Wallis. It was concluded that participants have a deficient training of investigative expertise and significant differences in skills training.
