Abstract

This written highlights the importance of the education in the closest source of the economic growth that recognizes as an endogenous development, which is important to Córdoba Department that shows a contrast between its richness and its inequity to distribute the richness. As a said in the world declaration about Education on twenty first century approved by the Higher Education world conference, it has existed a greater awareness of the main relevance that higher education has own the social cultural and economic development as well as on the construction of a new future. Therefore, It is necessary to encourage more the missions of the higher education system towards research, identifying the necessities of the region, looking for effecting answer to these ones, aiming to contribute sustainable development such as the improvement of the whole society. In this case, Córdoba Department in Colombia, which is a region traditionally full of nature richness, without law level of unsatisfied necessities, with one of the lowest levels on higher education graduation, it can find an eventual solution to its own development.
