Abstract

Starting from the fact that the development of logistics in companies during the last decades has been significant due to the possibility of achieving competitive advantages through its analysis and application. Today the issue of logistics is such an important issue that companies create specific areas for its study and treatment. Logistics has gained importance over time and currently represents a basic aspect in companies to become world-class companies. When the logistics presents some insufficiencies in the last phase of the processes, which is the distribution to the client and this shows disagreements with the product it receives, then what is called Reverse Logistics is applied, which is what is intended to be analyzed in this thesis. , as will be seen later. Logistics deals with supply problems relative to the time, place, and manner in which goods and services are required. Note that companies do not act independently, but are part of a supply chain whose structure has two dimensions: horizontal (the number of links that make it up) and vertical (the number of members that make it up). Its greater or lesser success within the chain depends on its ability to integrate and coordinate its activities and relationships with the rest of its links.
