Abstract
Panama at present has a study carried out on the criminal profile technique, despite the fact that the information on this subject is extremely scarce, it is important to mention that the criminal profile is one of the main characteristics that must be analyzed when identifying the culprit of a crime. The purpose of the investigation was to identify the criminal profiling techniques and the analysis of the behavior of a psychopathic person, through the study of the Ted Bundy Case. The methodology that was used was a type of qualitative research with a grounded theory design, for which the documentary analysis technique was used and as an instrument a data analysis sheet was used, this case was chosen, because it provides valuable information about the patterns behaviors regarding the crimes committed. One of the most relevant findings when analyzing this case is that according to Dr. Alexandro Aguirre (2014), in his study on Clinical Psychology, he mentions that the criminal could never be diagnosed with social disorders, since he suffered from many mental problems. Through this article it was possible to understand the psychology and behavior patterns of one of the serial killers, important characteristics within the creation of the criminal profile of a psychopathic person, an important fact in the particularities of the crime scene.
