Influencia del género en la matrícula de los estudiantes de Maestría en Gerencia de los Servicios de Salud, UMECIT - Herrera

Abstract

The main objective of this research was to determine how gender influences the enrollment of a career in higher education and what are the soci oeconomic factors that prevail at the time of this selection. For reasons of time, students enrolled in the Master’s Degree in Management of Health Services of the Metropolitan University of Education, Sciences and Technology (UMECIT), Herrera Campus, are selected as a sample under a mixed approach. In conclusion, the findings found lead us to propose a reorientation in the implementation of public policies in the areas of education, work and family that lead to a series of law initiatives to eradicate discrimination based on gender, which caused so much harm makes the achievement of equal opportunities and
