Abstract
In order to carry out a study of the periods of the year in which more cases of respiratory diseases are recorded, statistics provided by the Ministry of Health were analyzed, we considered which were causing respiratory diseases in the province of Veraguas, and identified what the season was where more cases were recorded. In this investigation we work with data collected in the Umecit Library, Google Scholar, Luis Chicho Fábrega Hospital, San Francisco Javier Cañazas de Veraguas Hospital, All Health Centers of the Veraguas Region, Minsa Capsi de La Mata, Minsa Capsi Tigre de Los Amarillos, Health Posts and Regional Statistics of the Ministry of Health Veraguas. It is concluded that in the face of respiratory diseases the female population with higher figures than those of the male sex are more vulnerable. As for the observation the figures in both male and female increases in the same seasons in the month of March 2018, a not so significant increase occurred, however in the July season the rainy season increases the number of patients with respiratory diseases increased On average and in comparison with the previous seasons in the month of October it is qualified as the winter season in our country.
