Panamanian population’s level of knowledge of the law

Abstract
The main objective of the article was to analyze and identify the level of knowledge of the population about fundamental laws, such as the Constitution, human rights, and civil laws, and to bring the information to citizens so that they are aware of the laws, their rights, and how decisions we make as citizens affect and impact all aspects. For this research, we implemented a quantitative research method, considering ethical aspects regarding respect for the dignity of the person, their fundamental rights, and their privacy, which is a fundamental principle in the application of bioethics; the survey was directed at a general population to measure the level of knowledge on the topic addressed. The result obtained was a level of ignorance about the laws in Panama, in general.
