Abstract

Informal workers in the City of David face significant risks during the rainy season, mainly due to a lack of awareness of the risks they may have. This group is exposed to various dangers and risks that are aggravated by the rains. The most common risks include ergonomic, physical, biological, psychosocial, and environmental factors. In addition, constant exposure to moisture and cold causes health problems, such as respiratory diseases. This research seeks to identify these risks in order to propose solutions that improve their safety and well-being during the rainy season. All this is to know the main occupational risks faced by workers in the center of the city of David. The focus of this documentary research was observations from articles, internet data, as well as the workplaces in the center of David. It was found that most informal workers are exposed to physical, ergonomic, biological, psychosocial, occupational insecurity and environmental risks, all of which affect informal workers. Therefore, it seeks to provide a detailed understanding of the occupational risks faced by informal workers in the city of David during the rainy season. By identifying these risks, strategies can be designed to improve the conditions of workers and make them aware of the risks they are not aware of.
