Abstract

This article examines the influence of hormonal changes on the mental health of women during pregnancy and postpartum, with a specific focus on the district of Arraiján. Through a comprehensive review of literature, surveys, and interviews conducted with women in various stages of motherhood, significant deficiencies were identified in the approach to addressing both hormonal fluctuations and their emotional impact. This issue is further exacerbated by obstetric violence and the lack of adequately trained personnel in public health centers. In response to these needs, the development of a mobile application is proposed, which would allow mothers to track their emotional changes, access information on hormonal fluctuations, and connect with a network of trained professionals. The app will also include a space for sharing experiences and participating in an interactive blog. The article emphasizes the importance of training healthcare personnel and promoting more humanized and comprehensive care, with the goal of strengthening support networks and improving maternal mental health.
