Abstract
Parental support refers to the set of actions, resources, and values that parents or guardians provide to promote their children’s academic and emotional development. This support can manifest in various forms, such as supervising schoolwork, maintaining open communication, setting clear expectations, and participating in educational activities. Academic performance is one of the key indicators of students’ educational development and their ability to achieve personal and professional goals throughout life. However, this performance depends not only on the student’s individual factors, such as motivation or cognitive skills, but is also deeply influenced by the environment in which they develop, especially by parental support. The following will clearly explain everything related to parental support and academic performance, basic strategies that involve parents in the education of young children, and also discuss the presence of parents in the achievement of young children’s tasks.
