Abstract
This project is framed within the analytical empirical paradigm, using an observational and correlational research design. The research focuses on analyzing the extent to which “Influencers”and social networks have an impact on the identity formation of Panamanian youth, as well as on understanding the processes through which this influence takes place. The sample selected for this study Is composed of young Panamanians between the ages of 12 and 21, who will be randomly selected stratified by age, gender and geographic location. This sampling strategy guarantees the representativeness of the sample and allows us to obtain a broad and diverse view of how young people of different demographic profiles are being influenced by “Influencers” and social networks in the formation of their identity.
