Abstract
Explaining about deforestation, one of the main agents of climate change through research by various means such as virtual libraries, web browsing and review of digital journals allows to obtain knowledge and documentation of the direct and underlying causes of deforestation in this case Panama. Although there are a considerable number of global and national studies on the causes of deforestation and forest degradation, a review and update of the subject is necessary for everyone as it allows us to generate basic knowledge and makes us reflect on the actions to be taken in the future.
