Abstract
The present study had the purpose to determining the influence of learning through microlearning in higher education, the type of research was qualitative assuming a documentary design. The most relevant results obtained were that microlearning is one of the teaching tools that best adapts to the technological age and that relies on it to transmit knowledge, additionally was determined the marked influence that it has on higher education, since from the teacher’s point of view, in addition to obtaining self-learning, it can also provide knowledge to students in a format that adapts to their way of learning and from the student’s point of view, through microlearning, they can improve their retention , increase motivation and adapt learning according to their needs.
