Abstract
After on 11 March 2020, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the world since then changed, the Covid-19 virus caused society to enter into confinement, in our country, according to the increase in cases by provinces, what was total quarantine, curfews, suspending all physical and cultural activity , among other measures, decisions taken by the national government. The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic is the global health crisis that defines our time and the greatest challenge we have faced since World War II. Since its appearance in Asia late last year, the virus has reached every continent except Antarctica. But the pandemic is much more than a health crisis, it is also an unprecedented socio-economic crisis. By testing each of the countries it touches, the pandemic has the potential to create devastating social, economic and political impacts that will leave deep and lasting scars. Vaccine development poses many scientific and technical challenges to achieving vaccines that are safe and effective, which also requires time and resource investment. More than 50 companies, universities and research institutions globally have teamed up in an unprecedented collaborative effort to develop a vaccine to address the COVID-19 pandemic.
