Abstract
After carrying out a series of tests with the lights of different types and models of vehicles, in different scenarios or conditions, it was possible to obtain significant information that will help in updating the database that is used as an implement in traffic events. Among the materials that were used: reflective clothing, dark clothing, light reflective clothing, 2 Pick up vehicles, 2 Sedan vehicles and 2 trucks. The vehicles were placed in the same position, to determine the visual range distances for each person in different conditions. It was known that the lights vary depending on the type of vehicle and the driver’s visual field condition (myopia or normal vision) when subjecting it to different types of clothing color at the moment of the incident such as: low and high beam headlights, with different yellow tones.
