Abstract
La Universidad Metropolitana de Educación, Ciencia y Tecnología - UMECIT, logra consolidar en los últimos años su crecimiento y expansión que se apoya en un Plan de Desarrollo Institucional (P.D.I.) elaborado con la participación de los distintos grupos de interés.
El P.D.I. es un documento dinámico que se constituye en el principal derrotero del desarrollo institucional en todas sus áreas y en pro del cumplimiento del encargo social que se le ha encomendado y consagrado en la misión y visión institucional. Es por ello que en él se encuentran los programas y proyectos que durante un quinquenio orientan el crecimiento de la universidad.
