Abstract

The scientific and technological progress happened in the last few decades makes that the expert evidence acquire contours increasingly decisive in the reconstruction of the facts, therefore, when such circumstances arise, it is necessary for the judge to resort to the support of experts; hence the importance of the expert evidence.
Therefore, all legal systems provide for the participation of professionals or technicians, knowledgeable in depth of a topic, that can serve as the judicial body to establish a truth, either through experience or testing techniques, which determine a fact.
