Abstract

The Auditor with a fiction technique, is a valuable “expert friend” in a Criminal Court. Because the Forensic Audit is a very specialized area, the Auditor must have a very complete training, about the different criminal modalities, with emphasis on economic and financial crimes. In addition to knowledge of the operative part in the different research processes, and of course, following the manuals and instructions of the chief investigator, so as not to make mistakes that can contaminate the evidences and ultimately ruin all the investigation, since the case collapses in the Court due to errors in the collection of evidences due, for example, to due diligence in the chain of custody.
