Abstract
This article addresses Burnout Syndrome among prehospital personnel, a prevalent condition exacerbated by intense emotional and physical demands of the job. Through a comprehensive literature review, critical factors such as high workload and constant exposure to traumatic events were identified as significant contributors to Burnout development. These findings underscore the urgent need for preventive strategies and support to enhance the well-being of emergency medical workers. Specific interventions recommended include training in coping skills, strengthening social support, and improving working conditions to mitigate Burnout’s negative impact and promote a healthier, sustainable work environment.
