Abstract
The purpose of this article was to analyze the relationship between the purposes of law and ethical-legal values, highlighting their importance in contemporary practice. A bibliographic review approach was applied using academic texts and scientific articles to identify key concepts and their practical application. Among the most relevant findings, misalignments between legal norms and their implementation were identified, affecting the protection of fundamental rights. Additionally, the lack of integration of ethical values in academic training was noted, limiting the impact of law in promoting justice. It was concluded that aligning ethical values with legal norms is essential to strengthen social cohesion and ensure effective justice.
