Protocolos de bioseguridad para el manejo de sustancias biológicas en los hechos de tránsito

Abstract

The present investigation deals with the biosafety protocols applied at the scenes of traffic events. The central question seeks to identify current practices and deficiencies in the protection of forensic experts and the prevention of infectious diseases. The general objective is to generate knowledge and raise awareness about the need to improve these protocols, both to protect forensic personnel and to preserve evidence in traffic accidents. The justification highlights that forensic experts are exposed to biological risks, which requires a review of biosafety protocols. Methodologically, it is qualitative research, descriptive and documentary, with interviews and surveys applied to experts from the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences in Chiriquí, Panama.
